EXPLORING CAMBRIDGE'S DELIGHTS

As a brand, we are lucky enough to be based in Cambridge and our watches are inspired by many of the designs within the cities impressive architecture. We have tried and tested many restaurants, ventured down many a side street and explored all the hidden gems within the city. It felt only right to share some of our favourite Cambridge treasures.

Located just 5 minutes walk from the city centre, Kings Parade is the home of the most impressive colleges in Cambridge including the famous Kings College. Wander down the cobblestones to find some of the most famous buildings in history including Trinity, Pembroke and many more. One of our favourite side streets of Cambridge is Senate Passage tucked in between The Senate House and Gonville and Caius College. This side street is the inspiration behind our first range and captures the spirit of Cambridge perfectly.

Cross the path and you will find Green Street the home of the Cambridge Gin Lab and the location of our watches. Dabble in the delights of the Cambridge Distillery Gin, inspired and created in Cambridge. You can even enjoy a private watch consultation over a chilled glass of gin and tonic.

After a morning of exploring why not enjoy Cambridge’s extensive food scene. Cambridge is a hot spot for independent cafes. Order a coffee and a bite to eat from some of our favourite cafes and restaurants in Cambridge, including Jack’s Gelato, Fudge Kitchen and Aromi bakery.

As your day in Cambridge comes to a close, a must-do for any visitor and local alike is punting. Experience the famous Cambridge Backs as you glide along the colleges and famous bridges. One of the finest punting companies within Cambridge is Rutherford’s Punting, we’ve even launched a unique gifting experience, which is a private watch consultation on the river. After visiting so many attractions a relaxing punt along the River Cam from the Bridge of Sighs to the Mathematical Bridge is the perfect way to end your day in the amazing city that inspired Beaucroft Watches.
